The Black Country Road Run in Halesowen on 1st July 2018 will be a great day for the community. With a 10K Road Race and a Family Fun Run to choose from. Please choose us as your charity and get involved!
We would love you to choose us as your charity for the Black Country Road Run, which will take place on 1st July 2018 in and around Halesowen. Organised by Halesowen & Rowley Regis Rotary Club, it is a brilliant opportunity to raise money, get fit and have fun!
You can choose from a 10K Road Race for keen runners, or a Family Fun Run if you want to take it easy!
This year, in partnership with the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, the Black Country Road Run is introducing a Corporate Challenge, and they are encouraging Chamber members and local businesses to get involved. Teams of up to five people will be able to enter into either the 10k Race or the Fun Run: a great way to promote your business, have fun with your team and raise money.
The Black Country Road Run has been running for several years and each year hundreds of local people pull on their trainers to take part.
Alan Bowler, from Halesowen and Rowley Regis Rotary Club, said about last year’s run:
“We would love to have more families out on the day. People can run, they can walk. They could even take the dog. We just want people to have a good time. “It is an event which is open to all ages.”
Whether you are a keen runner or just fancy the Fun Run, it promises to be a great day for the community.
