About the Cut Out Abuse Sponsored Walk

Participants taking part in the Black Country Women’s Aid Cut Out Abuse sponsored walk along a West Midlands canal.

There is no cost to register for Cut Out Abuse. Your team can choose to walk a distance that suits you, at a time and location of your choice, between now and the end of September.

All teams that register for the Cut Out Abuse Sponsored Walk between 3 August 2026 and 15 August 2026 will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win invitations to BCWA’s Celebrating 40 Years of Partnership and Progress event.

Winners will be selected at random after the closing date and contacted using the details provided during registration.

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry is free and automatic upon registration of a team of five people for the Cut Out Abuse Sponsored Walk between 3 August 2026 and 15 August 2026.
  2. No donation or fundraising minimum is required to enter the prize draw.
  3. Entries received after 11:59pm on 15 August 2026 will not be eligible.
  4. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  5. The prize consists of invitations to BCWA’s Celebrating 40 Years of Partnership and Progress event on 18 September 2026.
  6. The number of invitations available will be determined by BCWA and communicated to winners.
  7. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative prize.
  8. Winners will be notified within 7 to 14 days of the closing date using the contact details supplied on registration.
  9. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, BCWA reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  10. BCWA reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  11. Personal data will be processed in accordance with BCWA’s Privacy Policy and used for the administration of the prize draw.
  12. By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
  13. The decision of BCWA regarding the prize draw is final.
