Opportunity Overview

We are looking for an empathic, person centred candidate ideally with a background in providing individually tailored support to a caseload of individuals affected by sexual violence and abuse. This ISVA will be based in Wolverhampton and will join a team of ISVA's across the Black Country area providing specialist sexual violence support services.

Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.

Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs led.

We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Sexual Violence Abuse Team.

 

ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advocate) – £19,968- £22,934.

 

We are looking for a qualified ISVA’s to join the Sexual Violence Abuse team based in Walsall.

 

You will be working with victims of sexual violence and sexual abuse.  We are looking for someone who has experience of working with victims/survivors of sexual violence and sexual abuse, offering one to one emotional and practical support.  We are looking for a qualified ISVA, however, will provide full training and support for the right candidate.

 

You will be required to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of sexual violence and sexual abuse. You will be working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the SARC, Police, Court and local partnership responses to Sexual violence and sexual abuse.
