Black Country Women’s Aid (BCWA) is looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Modern Slavery Support Services Team.
We are looking for highly skilled support workers with excellent communication skills, compassion and understanding of the impact of abuse and exploitation.
You will be working within a challenging yet rewarding environment, in our refuge and outreach support service. You are required to provide a high-quality frontline service to both female and male victims of Modern Slavery (International human trafficking) and their children within the West Midlands area.
Black Country Women’s Aid is committed to getting the right people and therefore willing to be flexible. The post holder is expected to undertake some out of hours work to meet the needs of our clients as appropriate.
BCWA has adapted services during COVID to support victims of violence and abuse that meet all latest Government guidance. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available at all our sites and distributed to all staff as appropriate. Full details of the BCWA Risk Assessment can be found on our website. Please read this as it provides the framework that we are delivering services against. You will receive appropriate training to undertake the duties of the job on and on and offsite basis and all situations are risk assessed. Management supervision, support and oversight is embedded in our practice to ensure all parties are kept safe.
