Start fundraising

There are lots of ways to get involved in fundraising for us. Whatever your skills and interests, you can make a difference in helping us to make sure that victims of abuse in the Black Country don’t have to suffer in silence.

You can organise your own event or get involved with one of our fundraising events throughout the year.

We have a passionate and experienced fundraiser to support you and help make the most of your journey with BCWA.

Struggling for fundraising ideas?

Whatever your talents, there are plenty of ways to fundraise for us and have fun at the same time! Here are some ideas:

Wear Purple Day

Get your school or workplace to go purple in October for BCWA! Pick out your best purple clothes, have purple face painting, purple nail painting, purple cakes, a purple raffle… you name it, you can turn it purple to raise money for us!

Calling all daredevils

For all you daredevils and fitness fanatics, why not take on an active challenge: climb a mountain (or three with a Three Peaks Challenge); do a skydive; run a marathon; hold a zumbathon, do a sponsored cycle ride; take part in a fun run or sponsored walk; organise a netball or five aside football tournament.

Organise a night out…

Have fun with your friends and fundraise at the same time by organising a quiz night or bingo night at your local pub; a karaoke night; charity dance; or a night out at the races.

… or a night in

If you would rather stay in, you could organise a board game night, craft night, afternoon tea, a bake-off, Playstation tournament, a ‘come dine with me’ night, or a film night.

Tea and toiletries

Hold an afternoon tea where everyone brings a toiletry for a woman or child in our refuges. It’s a great way to have fun, help someone who needs it, and clear out those gift sets you never used!

Support us while you shop online

You can help us out while you do your online shopping… and it won’t cost you a penny! Over 2,700 well known retailers, including Amazon, John Lewis, eBay and Tesco will donate a small percentage of what you spend to us to say thank you for shopping with them.
